I’m Denise Flower film Set Decorator.

I have always been creative buy I started my design journey in 1997 after completing a Foundations in Design Program at Kwantlen University College in beautiful Vancouver British Columbia.

Following school I spent many years as a graphic and web designer in Vancouver, helping to define identities and branding for clients on the web before moving into the set decorating department for the film industry.

I am characterized as a highly motivated, sociable individual, clearly networked with a positive attitude. My strong work ethic, dynamic thinking and eye for design is what defines my success as a decorator.  In order to keep within budget I rely on my creativity and resourcefulness and I do whatever I can to stay within parameters set by production. 

Through networking I have built strong relationships with crew and other departments and this encourages a smooth working environment. I have strong computer skills and a good understanding of building as well as a keen eye for interior and period design. My hobbies include working with textiles, furniture and upholstery. I love my job and take pride in doing it well.
